Nativity of Mary School is a Pre-Kindergarten through grade 8 building. Our students are housed in separate wings. We come together as a school community for weekly Mass and monthly for pep assemblies. Each student is paired with a "buddy" in another grade and together they participate in schoolwide functions throughout the entire school year.
Exterior doors to the building remain locked at all times and are accessible only through a camera and buzzer system at the main entrance. All students and visitors enter through one entrance. The Main Office is open from 7:30am through 3:00pm each school day, ensuring there is oversight of the main entrance at all times when students are present in the building. Visitors must contact the school office to schedule an appointment.
Nativity of Mary School works with our local Sheriff's Department and regularly consults with them regarding best practices for school security and safety. In conjunction with our School Safety Team, we regularly review our emergency procedures and protocols. Our staff is AED trained and CPR Certified.
Nativity of Mary School expects its students to uphold the rights and wellbeing of others. Children learn best in a climate of acceptance, tolerance, and respect where bullying and harassment are not tolerated. Therefore, our school strives to create and maintain an atmosphere absent of threat or negative interactions with peers or adults. Our full Anti-Bullying Policy can be found in our Parent & Student Handbook under the "Important Information" section of our website.
